LBank's Global Affiliate Growth Campaign
LBank needed to grow its retail trading base in a contracting derivatives market, acquiring users who verify, fund their accounts and trade repeatedly rather than users who simply register. Cryptic supported that growth strategy by identifying and activating affiliate, creator and community partners capable of introducing relevant audiences to LBank's trading ecosystem.
Growth in a Contracting Market
In a crowded exchange market, growth is measured by more than registrations.
The priority was to acquire users who verify, fund their accounts and trade repeatedly, at a moment when aggregate derivatives volume across tracked centralised exchanges was falling.
Three obstacles defined the brief.
Partner incentives had to reward users who verified, funded an account and traded, rather than raw sign-up volume or referral traffic.
Aggregate derivatives volume across tracked centralised exchanges declined 10% quarter on quarter, from $18 trillion in Q1 to $16 trillion in Q2 2026.
LBank is smaller in absolute terms than venues such as Binance and OKX, so distribution had to lean on emerging-asset and derivatives access rather than brand scale.
A Partner Network Built for Trading Activity
LBank needed a partner able to source and activate distribution at global scale, across regional communities, trading educators, KOLs, media partners and performance affiliates, and to keep partner messaging aligned with a fast-moving listings calendar.
Cryptic's creator and community network, combined with its track record running exchange campaigns across GCC, MENA, Asia and Europe, made it the right fit.
Partner Pay Tied to Trading Activity, Not Traffic
Cryptic supported LBank's partner-led expansion across three workstreams, built around an affiliate model that compensates partners for the trading fees their referred users generate.
Partner Identification & Activation
Cryptic identified and activated affiliate, creator and community partners capable of introducing relevant audiences to LBank's trading ecosystem, contributing to a programme that spans 15,000+ partners across 110+ markets. The focus was on regional communities, trading educators and performance affiliates with genuine trading audiences.
An Incentive Model Aligned to Real Trading
Partners earn commission from the trading fees generated by referred spot and futures users, while larger partners develop their own sub-affiliate networks. Rather than optimising purely for registrations, the model rewards partners who acquire users who go on to trade.
Narrative Alignment With Product Momentum
Partner communications were aligned with LBank's listings, trading products and market narratives. During Q2 2026 the exchange listed 184 spot assets including 34 premiere listings, and reported strong momentum in tokenised-equity products, giving partners tangible activation angles instead of a generic exchange message.
Volume Up 8% While the Category Contracted
The figures below are LBank platform and market metrics for Q2 2026, as reported by the exchange and by third-party exchange volume trackers.
They describe the performance of the wider growth strategy Cryptic supported, not the isolated output of a single campaign.
